God wants this kind of honesty from you. When we expose our sin and bring it into the light before Him, we remove the power it tries to hold over our lives. The fact that you’re willing to say this out loud shows your heart still longs for Him.
 
God wants you to come to Him — honestly, without pretending. He wants a real relationship with you, not a perfect performance.
 
Keep bringing your heart before Him. As you confess and turn toward Him, He will strengthen you to overcome the sin and the weight that keeps causing you to stumble. Freedom often comes one step at a time.
 
Don’t let the enemy steal your assurance of salvation by drowning you in shame. The conviction you feel in your heart shows that you do desire to live holy before God, even if you feel like you keep falling.
 
Don’t give up. Keep getting back up and keep moving forward. Every time you fall, get back up and run to Him again.
 
And when those accusing thoughts come, cast them down. Anything that exalts itself above the truth of who Jesus is and who He says you are doesn’t belong in your mind.
 
You are stronger than you think, and God is not finished with you.
